Stinging Bee Pottery
Welcome to www.StingingBeePottery.com! At Stinging Bee Pottery I'm working diligently to create new pieces for you! I use the potters wheel to create wonderful ceramic pottery art! My hand made fruit bowls come in all sizes and shapes! These fruit bowls and ceramic art works are designed to be functional serving pieces and add inspiration to any room.
I use a special slip painting technique that creates a very special flow to my fine art Ceramic Pumpkins and pottery art pieces that catch the glazes to create the most beautiful finish to my work.
My fine art ceramic pottery pumpkins are sculpted using fine stoneware clay! Each piece is unique and original! They look lovely in the garden in the summer!

About Debra Ventimiglia
I find everything in nature inspirational – Earth, fire, air and water! Each element plays a vital role in creating my pottery. I focus on hand sculpted and wheel thrown functional and decorative pottery you can use to decorate with year round. I create unique hand sculpted ceramic pottery art that can be personalized to your design choices. I enjoy adding my own special style to an ancient art form. I focus on soft frosted shades of glaze for my hand made fruit bowls, leaf platters, sculpted vases and hand sculpted ceramic art Pumpkins! Each one of a kind piece is unique and makes a wonderful Anniversary gift, Wedding Gift, Birthday gift or Christmas gift for yourself or someone you care about!
I use soft white stoneware clay, porcelain clay and warm creamy buff with speckles in the creation of my pottery. Whether wheel thrown pottery or hand made pottery each piece is fired in an electric kiln to 2132 degrees. Each piece receives a minimum of two firings. A piece often requires multiple glaze firings to reach just the right level of depth to the glaze! I create functional art sculpture that can be used for serving and decoration! I sign each piece before firing to authenticate that it is a one of a kind piece of art that you can enjoy for years to come!
Fine Art Ceramic Pottery that is also decorative with nature inspired colors and textures!
